Reading a newspaper provides the opportunity to obtain information and learn about a specialised subject, which, depending on your interests and curiosity, you can enjoy. Being informed about daily events in the country is very important.
El País is one of the best known media in Spain and is the first one I turn to for current news, as it is similar to my ideas and seems to me to be a reliable medium. It is a well-structured media where there are many labels depending on your interests, were you can find hard or soft news. One of the advantages of this newspaper is that it is free and you can access it even if you are not a subscriber.
I consider radio to be a very useful medium for information. It is educational, entertaining and practical. When I listen to the radio, I like listening to Cadena Ser, because of the way it informs as well as its different programmes.
Finally, I consider important to read international outlets in order to contrast information with our national outlets and to know what is going on around us in the world. That is why I read The New York Times. It is one of the best known media in the world and I find it very useful.
